‘Dentistry is about relationships and smiles, not individual teeth’.

In this era of rapidly advancing medical technology, it is vitally important for a clinician to keep up with post graduate learning and development. Nicholas makes sure he is across all of the latest treatment options and diligently stays up to date with his professional development.
Dr Nicholas Hii began his dental education with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) from Queen Mary University of London. In his early years he was mentored by Dr Raj Rattan, Associate Dean of the London Deanery. He has also undertaken post graduate studies in Aesthetic Dentistry from King’s College London. Nicholas has extensive work experience at dental practices in the UK, Malaysia and Australia. Hence, he is able to identify and relate well to patients of various backgrounds and treat various dental conditions.
Nicholas is currently pursuing a Masters of Oral Implantology from Goethe University, Frankfurt. Nicholas is also a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
In his spare time, Nicholas is always looking for new technologies to improve his practice. He is very much looking forward to meeting new patients and fostering strong relationships for life. That is his main motivation and drive.

During your first visit at High Dental Implants Melbourne, we’ll review your full medical and dental history, carry out a detailed oral exam, take photos and X-rays (or CT scan if needed), and outline a customised treatment plan with all costs and stages.
Most patients who are missing one or more teeth and have good general health can consider implants. We’ll assess your jawbone quality, gum health, habits like smoking or uncontrolled diabetes, and discuss any preparatory work like bone grafts or sinus lifts.
The process depends on your case. It often involves an initial consultation, the implant placement, a healing period while the implant integrates with bone (osseointegration), and then fitting of your final crown, bridge or denture.
Just like natural teeth, implants need brushing, flossing, and regular professional hygiene visits. Keeping up good oral hygiene and attending check-ups helps maximise long-term success.
Yes — implants can replace a single tooth, multiple teeth with a bridge, or an entire arch using techniques like full-arch fixed teeth on implants. The number and type will be based on your bone, health and goals.
